First of all, I would like to wish all of the mothers reading an incredibly HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!!
This mother's day I spent with Kahli, my mom and my grandma. We traveled to Cherryville early Sunday morning so we could be at church and sitting in Grandma's pew when she came out of sunday school. Boy was she surprised the look on her face was well-worth the 2 hour drive.
After church we then headed back to grandma's house for lunch. Boy did I eat more than I should have but everything was so good and after all....it was MOTHER'S DAY!
Vickie, Don, Lynne and Dakota all joined us for lunch and then off to their house to play Wii with Kahli and Dakota. That was a lot of fun but why is it the younger the player of the game the more likely it is that they will win? It was fun even though I did lose.
Back in the car for the ride home. It was so windy that I thought that "my bug" was going to be lifted up and thrown into other cars.....
We arrived home at 6:02 and Kahli and I made a mad dash to change clothes quickly so we could make it to church by 6:45. We drove into the parking lot at 6:44 and did not miss a minute of the service. What an incredible service it was. It is so amazing to see how GOD is working. The church "New Spring" built a house for a single mother and her teenage son. They also gave away a van that was fully equipped with a wheelchair ramp and automatic doors for another woman and her handicapped son. We also heard different people's testimony about how the LORD has worked in their lives and heard a great message too....
Kahli and I were very tired after our day but after the service we were so energized by GOD's love that we just wanted to tell everyone just how awesome HE is.
All and all it was an absolutely AMAZING day that I spent with four generations of woman.
Thanks be to GOD for HIS indescribable gift. 2 Corinthians 9:15
