Happy Birthday Uncle Greg!
Today I received an e-mail from Faith asking me if I had called Ugl Greg yet to sing him Happy Birthday. I got a kick out of this for two reasons. The first being the spelling of Ugl Greg and the second being that my singing skills are so bad but Faith loves my birthday song that Kahli and I sing together. Okay, so my biggest fan is "7" but I am very proud that I have any fans at all.
Uncle Greg has been a big part of our lives for many years. He has been Kahli's pediatrician. He has been my sushi partner. He has been a great friend to us both. We share a lot of laughs together. We have also shared some tears together. We have both grown as Christians. He has amazing knowledge of the Bible. Do not ever try to beat him in scrabble, it is a tough battle. He has always taken Kahli "back to school" shopping. (and yes that is because he loves it as mush as she does).
Uncle Greg has moved to San Diego to be a part of Jim and Michelle's launch team for their church plant in Ocean Beach, California.Kahli and I miss Uncle Greg and hopefully he misses us too. I know that he has had an impact on our lives.
I am sure that the people of San Diego will also feel his impact on their lives . He is an awesome doctor that puts his entire being into making the children that he treats feel at ease as he helps to make them better. He ministers to the nurses and others around him while at work and I know that he is bringing more people to Christ.
Happy June 1 Uncle Greg and Happy Birthday.....39 gets better every year!!!
