WORSHIP

Isn't it interesting that there are so many ways to worship and that everyone worships differently....Kahli and I have been to many churches over the past couple of months and each one has a it's own very unique style.....

Yes, I do prefer a church that has great music because I worship through music a lot but the word that is spoken and taught is also important.....Do you think that it is important to know those around you that are worshipping with you or is it okay to sing and praise the LORD with strangers? Does it make a difference if you have to dress up to go to church or is it okay to wear jeans? Is it better to worship at 9:30 in the morning or is 6:00 at night okay?

A couple of years ago I had the opportunity to go to St. Maarten on a mission trip to help this community of precious people build a new church....Now talk about worshipping in ALL circumstances...This congregation worshipped on a concrete slab with tarps covering it and they were dressed in their finest clothes and sang HIS praises in 90 degree weather...Even though there was a huge language barrier you could feel their heart and souls being poured out to GOD.....How spectacular is that?

Bottom line is.....we have an awesome GOD and any time that we can gather together in HIS name and sing HIS praises and share his glory is unbelievably amazing....

Today, Kahli and I went to a church with strangers...she wore khakis and I dressed up and then we went to church tonight at someones house.......the whole day we were worshipping our KING and learning more about his word and how to glorify HIM and how to serve others and on and on.....I love Sundays and I love to worship.....
