Mr. Timmerman leaves for Duke

Today around lunch time Mr. Timmerman and his wife Debbie came by the office as they were on their way to Duke. Mr "T" was very chipper and very positive. As they left in the car, they left behind many tears and many prayers. You see Mr. "T" has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and he is on his way to Duke for surgery. This will take place on Friday. They said the surgery will last about 8 hours and then he will be in the hospital for about 10 days followed by weeks of chemotherapy and radiation.

Mr. "T" is the the administrator of Blue Ridge Orthopaedics. He and I started to work there about the same time ten years ago. Since then we have gone through many difficult life situations, as well as many happy occasions. We have watched our children grow older (Kahli and Christy ..Mike's daughter)share the same birthday..different year.....

This past year Christy got married and Mr. "T" had a hard time letting go of his daughter, his baby girl to another man. Her beautiful wedding picture sits on his desk and when you ask about her there is always a tear in his eye.

With this being said Mr. "T" and I have a lot of history . He is a very wise man that has stood by me and beleived in me for many years. I look up to him and enjoy our conversations. He always has good advise and is honest, kind and caring.

These past couple of weeks, after him receiving his diagnosis, has been very difficult for me as well as many others too. Mr. "T" has an incredibly strong spirit and a great outlook on his daignosis and he feels that his glass is half full not empty.

I know that GOD can heal anyone and HE is the greatest physician of all. Please LORD if this is your will to completely heal Mr. "T" of his pancreatic cancer, letyour will be done. I ask that you watch over him and his family as they begin their extremely difficult journey. I also ask that you hold his hand all the way through and let him know how much you love him.

Please join with me in prayer for, Mr."T" a wonderful man who has been a great inspiration to me throughout the years. Mr. "T" I love you!!!
