Well, after the 4th appeal with the insurance company, I got a call today at work from Stephanie. She stated that for some unknown reason the insurance company has decided to approve Kahli's new insulin pump and CGMS.
We are hopeful that at the beginning of next week we will be receiving the new pump and begin to get some classes on how to operate it!
I was so excited today that I was dancing around work. (Now I know why Kahli is the dancer in the family). Prayer and persistence were the two key steps in achieving the authorization.
I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for their prayers and to the my sweet heavenly FATHER for giving me the persistence to carry through with this endeavor to create a little easier life for Kahli and her diabetes.
