Visit from Danny

Well, this week proved to be a very busy week. Kahli and I exhausted from the dance convention last weekend and needed lots of sleep. That did not happen. My brother, Danny was here on Monday visiting with us for the week from Amsterdam. We also had my Aunt Betty and Uncle Tom here for a couple days this week too.

My brother and I live two totally separate and different lives but when we get together I always have a warm, fuzzy, family feeling. We play cards and games with my parents and laugh and talk about old times. Speaking of old we are both getting older but that sad fact is....he IS older than I and looks much better and is definitely in better shape and lives a healthier life as far as exercise and eating habits.

After taking some pictures tonight and seeing myself it makes me want to start back exercising and eating right. I want to be around a long time for Kahli and in order to do this I need to eat healthier and exercise daily. This has always been a struggle for me, so I ask for prayers that I stay consistent and keep my commitment.

I enjoyed my time with Danny this week. There was not a lot of time since I had to work and he had some things to do while he was here...eye appointments and dental appointments and visiting the museum. I think he had a good time seeing the family but Six Mile is not the life for him. He will be ready to get home to Amsterdam soon.

May the LORD bless him and give him safe traveling over the next couple of days. I love my brother Danny!

I know the feeling! I'm trying to get in shape, so Kerry and I can start a family soon. I've had to change all my blood pressure medications, and I know if I lost weight it would help tremendously. I'll be thinking about ya!
